Meet the ISSP Team

The Board of Trustees is the policy-making body of the ISS-Philippines, composed of 15 members elected by the General Assembly and with the Department Secretaries of Social Welfare and Development, Foreign Affairs, and Labor and Employment as ex-officio members.
At present, the Board of Trustees includes professionals such as a certified public accountant, a judge, a medical doctor, a psychologist, and two registered social workers. It also includes representatives from the government, the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the Philippine National Police, the academe, the business sector, and the religious sector. It is chaired by a Mayor and former Congresswoman.
The ISS Philippines Board of Trustees brings together individuals who are very well-respected and regarded as experts in their fields, with each also having a track record of humanitarian service: In fact, it is not uncommon for a member of the Board to also be active in other sociocivic institutions or cause-oriented NGOs.
Together, the members of the ISS Philippines Board of Trustees bring their collective experience to the organization, providing opportunities for some of the best minds from a very broad sector of society to craft solutions to the social problems that the ISSP had made it its mission to resolve.
